This article describes how to use filters to analyze project performance by audience and conversion metrics.
You can filter live results by any audience and event configured for your organization. There's even an option to build a custom audience right inside the interface.

Filtering by audience and event
You can filter any session-based project at any stage of the optimization, so long as there is data available.
- Use the Audience drop-down to select any pre-existing audience definition.
- Use the Conversion Metric drop-down to select any pre-defined event.
The graphs will update as soon as you make a selection. You have the option to reset the values once they are changed.
Build a custom audience
The true power of filtering by audiences is in the ability to create any custom audience on-the-fly.
- Select the Custom Audience option from the Audience drop-down.
- Add criteria in the audience side panel and click APPLY to finish.

- Default schema values
- Custom schema values
- Existing audiences
- Events

The graphs will update according to the custom audience definition. Click the Custom Audience option again to modify the audience.
