General Questions
What happened to "Generate Opportunities"?
"Generate Opportunities" has been replaced by Ideate with AI. Any previously generated opportunities will be found there.
How do I access Evaluations and Ideate with AI?
You can access Evaluations and Ideate with AI from the View Detail page. Evaluations help assess how well your design aligns with guidelines, while Ideate with AI allows you to generate ideas based on specific challenges or opportunities.
How Ideate with AI Differs from Evaluations
Both Ideate with AI and Evaluations can generate hypotheses and ideas, but they serve different purposes:

Evaluations
What is an evaluation?
An evaluation is a structured analysis of a design’s alignment with AI-generated guidelines. Each evaluation includes a set of guidelines, a score, and recommendations where applicable.
How does evaluation scoring work?
Your evaluation score is calculated as the number of ‘in line’ guidelines divided by the total number of conclusive (not inconclusive) guidelines.
Can I add my own hypotheses or ideas to an evaluation?
Yes, you can add custom hypotheses and have the AI generate ideas for them. You can also add custom ideas for planning purposes.
What happens when I update an evaluation?
Updating an evaluation resets the results. Any custom hypotheses or ideas added to the evaluation will be removed.
Why do similar ideas appear in different Views?
The AI generally prevents duplicate ideas within a single View but may generate similar ideas across different Views if the guidelines are similar.

How does Ideate with AI work?
Ideate with AI lets you input challenges or questions about a design screenshot. The AI generates hypotheses and ideas in response to your prompt, which is referred to as an Opportunity.
Can I find my previous opportunities?
Yes, any opportunities generated before the feature update can be found in the "Ideate with AI" tab within each view.
What does the AI consider when generating ideas?
The AI considers the screenshot, associated knowledge, and any guidelines from evaluations to generate relevant ideas.

Views & View States
What are views and view states?
A view represents a meaningful point in the customer journey (e.g., a product detail page). A view state is a variation of that view, such as a page with required product options selected vs. unselected.
What happens when I update a screenshot?
Updating a screenshot resets the evaluation and re-evaluates the guidelines against the new screenshot. Additionally, any existing Ideate with AI results associated with the previous screenshot will be removed.
Can I delete view states?
No, view states cannot be deleted at this time.
What happens if the AI assigns the wrong page type to my screenshot?
If you suspect the AI has assigned the wrong page type, submit a support ticket to request a correction.

Knowledge & Guidelines
What is "Knowledge" in this system?
Knowledge includes any information (text or uploaded PDFs) that can be used to generate guidelines for evaluating designs.
What happens when I update a knowledge item?
Updating a knowledge item removes any previously derived guidelines and generates new ones based on the updated content.
Does the category I choose for a knowledge item affect its function?
No, categories are just for organization, like folders. The AI processes all knowledge the same way, regardless of category.
What happens if I delete a knowledge item?
Deleting a knowledge item removes all associated guidelines from the corresponding Knowledge Category Evaluation.

Archiving & Feedback
Can I archive ideation results?
Yes, you can archive evaluation guidelines, custom opportunities, hypotheses, and AI-generated ideas. Archived items will be hidden but can be viewed or revived if needed.
Can I provide feedback on AI-generated ideas?
Yes, feedback can be submitted when archiving an individual result. However, AI-generated content is probabilistic, so feedback may influence but not guarantee future results.
